What I mean is that some software are more suitable if created by someone with the same background and way of thinking. ![]() Even though the software is in English, the "forma mentis" behind this software is Italian and the manual also. In the meantime my QSL manager had several problems with HRD and he asked me a software that was in Italian. 3) A bit slow with the log management with 20k+ qsos. It was surely my fault but never used effectively. My main concerns were on: 1) too many windows, hard to deal with if you have one monitor, 2) I have never liked the Spot Collector. It took me some time to set it up but once ready, it was a great software, very complete. I loved that program even though the layout is a bit "old-fashion". I had several problems with the digital DM780 freezing after 30seconds. I STUDIED the manual and managed to have it running. It is a real nice program but the learning curve is not that great, at least for me. I tested several programs starting from Ham Radio Deluxe last version. Also, a user-friendly logger easy to use in pileups. I needed a full-featured program that allowed me to have a complete log, CAT, maps, and propagation prediction. I was a happy user of BBLogger but the program had not received updates for quite some time. ![]()
